The Talon, Victorian era (DC comics fan design).
Here’s a quick costume design for a Victorian Era version of The Talon from the Batman: Night of the Owls story arc. It’s actually part of a cosplay design I’m helping out tumblr user gothambeat on, and I’m having a lot of fun with it! We were having trouble with the headgear for this Talon, and I ended up basing it partially on certain hats and hearwear of the time, complete with a feathery poof on top. Coming down from the head piece is a dark, feather-patterned veil covering the back and sides of her head. The goggles are a staple of the Talons, so they had to be included, and they connect to the head piece. Underneath the goggles is a wool scarf covering the rest of her face. I still wanted to get more of a feeling of power to her, so I added a short cloak with a feather top to it, similar to the 1880’s old west Talon. And her jacket and hip ruffle come from this. There will definitely be more to come from this design (we still have to decide on weaponry and what the hell to do with her arms). Hoping gothambeat likes it! :D

I’m back everybody!!

Gosh It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything here. I figure I should update everybody on why I’ve been so absent recently. I’ve been having some real mental issues with getting work done and being confident in my art in the past few months, and finally everything just became too much. I decided to take a well-needed break from stuff like my art blog and focus on new projects, like my vlogging, as well as personal time for growth, reflection, and getting back on track with my creative self. I’m still working on it, but I think I feel comfortable enough to return here and start posting work again!

So I’ll be dumping a bunch of stuff on here that I’ve been working on within the next couple days. Hope y’all enjoy!!

“Ramona Flowers” by Ryan Biggins

New original song of mine about everybody’s favorite Manic Pixie Dream Girl!

Mystery and wonder
From the center of New York
Manic pixie dream girl
With a shoelace ‘round your neck

Your hair is glowing rainbows
And your eyes full of regret
Dancing off to Joy Division
Trying to forget

Your spirit’s so dizzy
With the chaos of your past
Slipping into Subspace
When you knew it wouldn’t last
You know you kick all kinds of ass
So honey don’t you frown
It’s time to bring that hammer down

Ramona
The flower of Toronto
But you think it’s just a game you’re gonna lose
Ramona
We’ll follow you wherever
Can you leave this world behind without a bruise?
Well I know you can’t sleep, A ghost in your dreams
But you gotta keep your chin up all the way
And though you try too hard just to run away from trouble
Know you’re gonna find your life someday

7 Evil Exes
Wanna burn your love life down
Gideon’s flying off the handle
Tearin’ up the town

Looking for a friend
But it’s a thousand miles away
Now you’re home alone
Thinking that everybody leaves

Who knows all your secrets
When you’re stuck inside your head
Life is like a comic book
With nothing left unsaid
Coming back together
With the power of love
You know who we’re thinking of

I know you said you’d never be so brave
You thought that you could never change
Oh girl, your life is strange

Don’t forget to like and reblog! Thanks for listening! :D

Weird Cartoony Batman and Robin. Don’t really know how these strange designs came to be, but here they are! I actually like how they turned out a lot.

So my friend Sam has been drawing a bunch of Rule 63 Antman recently, so I decided to respond with Rule 63 Wasp! I’ll definitely be drawing more of him soon!
